Tehaus Typeface

I’ve been working on a new typeface — off and on, mostly off — for more than a year now. At one point I even used it to try my hand at a linoleum carving. Thanks to a little downtime, I was able to clean up a few rough spots over the past couple of days and publish it on Creative Market.

ORIGIN
A few letters from an old American Type Founders specimen book provided the base for a logo concept that was never used. I eventually fleshed out the rest of the characters into the set above. It’s built on a modular system, so modifying letters and eliminating empty space created by the letters “L” and “T” is made simpler.

For now it’s just vectors, but eventually I’d like to turn it into a full-fledged font.
